I am here to report that this event was a huge success and a tremendous amount of fun!! Thank you to all who were involved. The Original Announcement!! Perks and Corks, Westerly, RI - Saturday March 5th, 2010 - 9pm til last call
This story just in.... details still unfolding.... it appears that The Two Dave Moretti's had so much fun and had such a good reception the first time they shared the stage together as individuals that both of their bands now want to join forces and bring this to the next level.... Perks and Corks will be location of this landmark musical event for the Two Dave Moretti's and their bands....It looks like DMI (The Connecticut Dave) and his band Riverside will take the first set and DMII (The RI Dave) and The Amazing Rhythm Mule will take the stage for the second set and that the last set will be a blending of both bands together.... more info to follow as the details are worked out.... very exciting news.... don't miss this event!!!!

We'll as you can see this date has gone by! We had a tremendous evening!! I am have received some pictures that were taken that evening and have added them to the page so that I can share some images from the evening. I want to thank Susan Ryan for the photo contributions of all of the pictures on this page except for the one of the Connecticut Dave Moretti in the comparison info below.
In the meantime; here is a little run down of the evening. It was a great night and lots of friends showed up and shared the evening with us, both as audience and as band. I can't tell you how much laughter we had goofing on the Two Dave Moretti thing. "Good Evening, we are Dave Moretti", and so on.
The evening progressed with the first set being just the Dave Moretti's. In the second set we were joined by Timmy Flynn from Rhythm Mule. On the third set Timmy stepped out and Geno Parise from Wheelhouse stepped in. We were also graced on a few songs with one of my favorite singers ever, when Amie Coffey who is also in Wheelhouse joined us.
This was a totally fun experience and it was great to share the stage and evening with the other Dave Moretti and friends. I am thankful that he decided to do this event with me and I hope we have the opportunity to do this again!! Soon!!

Parallel Universes Collide as the "Two Dave Moretti's" share the stage for the first time!!!
It was early in the summer of 2010 when I got a call and the person on the other end said,"I wouldn't normally call but I found your website and we have the same name, we play the same music, and I live in the next state" and that is where we started to learn the similarities between us. We have since uncovered several other oddities in the like type trajectory of a parallel universe. We will be sharing the stage for our first show together on December 17th at Perks and Corks in Westerly, RI. It's sure to be hoot so don't miss this show if you are local. Hopefully we will get some photo or video content to achive this event as it will definitely be one for the books.
