DaveJa Vu Review 2010 and 2011 - (Dave Gerard and Dave Moretti) Third and Fourth Annual Renions

I am pleased to announce that DaveJa Vu 2011 was a blast and my good buddy and tremendous musician Dave Gerard (pictured on this page) joined me again for a couple of shows in early June.
This was the fourth year in a row that Dave Gerard has travelled here from New Hampshire to share his talent with South County RI, and with me on the stage. It is always an honor and pleasure to have DG visit and do shows together and hopefully it remains a tradition for years to come!
This years DaveJa Vu shows were:
Thursday June 2 - The Mariner Grille - Narragansett, RI - 7:30 - 11:30 pm
Friday June 3 - NO SHOW - Dave Gerard took a quick trip to NYC to see the Radiators
Saturday Night - June 4 - Tara's Joyce Family Pub - Matunuck Beach, RI - 9:00 - 1:00pm
I am pleased to announce that DaveJa Vu 2010 in May was a great success and my good buddy and tremendous musician Dave Gerard (pictured on this page) will join me again for a series of shows in September.
This was the third year in a row that Dave Gerard has travelled here from New Hampshire to share his talent with South County RI.

If you came out ot any of these shows thanks and I hope you had as much fun as we did! If you missed this years DaveJa Vu shows hopefully you will have another chance next year.
In the meantime learn more about Dave Gerard(aka DG) and check his calendar for opportunities to see him and his many bands perform. http://www.gerardtruffle.com/?cat=3&eventDisplay=month If you find yourself heading North to NH you should have a good opportunity to see him unless he is out on tour.
On any given night a DG show is gentle, raucous, and eclectic; but always honest. His soulful style of contemporary roots music and from-the-core songwriting has earned him many awards: Best Male Artist & Song of The Year (Jam Magazine), and finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest to name a few. His music takes him full time from New England to Florida, west to Colorado, and to the U.S. Virgin Islands. Acoustically he’s shared the stage with Richie Havens, Chris Smither, David Lindley, Pat Donohue, Toots & the Maytalls, and Tinytown. With his band Truffle, he’s performed with Little Feat, The Band, Phish, Dave Matthews Band, and Blues Traveler to name a few. Check out a show and his four solo recordings, “ The Zoomy Trail”, “Dreams of Kings”, “Losing the Boy”, and “Memory Hill” – you won’t be disappointed!
Check out www.gerardtruffle.com and the really cool website for DG's latest solo recording www.thezoomytrail.com (this is the first time I have seen a site dedicated to a project - go on and check out and download a free MP3 of DG). Caution - you'll want to hear more of him when he's here and beyond!! Click on any of the pics below to enlarge.
